Magnesium's role in sleep apnea
We aimed to uncover the relationship between magnesium levels and sleep quality, particularly focusing on sleep apnea. Our study analyzed data from a large group of adults aged 20 and older, using a well-structured method to assess magnesium levels and the prevalence of sleep issues.

We found a notable connection between lower magnesium levels, measured as the magnesium depletion score (MDS), and the likelihood of experiencing sleep apnea. Specifically, individuals with higher MDS levels were significantly more likely to report sleep apnea, showing over three times the odds compared to those with adequate magnesium levels.

Interestingly, our research did not link magnesium deficiency to other sleep problems like insomnia or restless legs syndrome, suggesting a more complex relationship with sleep apnea alone. Additionally, we noticed that older adults with depressive symptoms showed a tendency toward excessive sleep rather than insufficient sleep.

While our findings highlight the association between magnesium deficiency and sleep apnea, they also point towards the potential of adequate magnesium intake in reducing this risk. This emphasizes the importance of maintaining proper magnesium levels for better sleep quality, especially in those at higher risk for sleep apnea.

Deep sleep achieved

Helps you sleep deeply. This product isn't a hypnotic but allows you to have deep sleep that may induce vivid dreams. It takes a few days for the effects to kick in, but after about a week, it worked remarkably well. I recommend taking it an hour or two before bedtime for best results.

Quality Product - Excellent Price - Great for restless sleep. I found this magnesium, which I can buy locally for twice the price, at iHerb for 50% off! After months of restless nights, I noticed a difference within the first week; I experienced fewer interruptions throughout the night and far less fidgety restlessness that used to keep me awake for hours. I'm thrilled with the results!

Calms anxiety

I’ve tried various magnesium forms and ultimately chose this one, taking it for nearly a year. The 200 mg dosage is convenient, and magnesium citrate provides quick, noticeable results. However, it can cause looser stools if overused. During stressful times, I may take 600-800 mg daily. This magnesium aids in muscle relaxation, improves sleep, reduces nocturnal awakenings, tachycardia, anxiety, and enhances my overall sense of calm and productivity.

Improved heart rate

To maintain my nervous system, I bought this product and took two tablets daily over a month along with a B-complex. I found my sleep was stronger, and I felt calmer. The heart rate also improved, and those claiming longer usage may have serious magnesium deficiencies. However, a doctor’s advice is essential. I’m very satisfied with the results.

I found the tablets rather large and difficult to swallow. I opted for magnesium citrate to address sleep issues and it does work. Taking two capsules before bed gave me restful sleep, and I woke up refreshed. I also experienced digestive regularity. I deducted a star for size but recommend it for anyone struggling with nervousness and sleep issues.

Effective for insomnia

Best magnesium for sleeping! I’ve tried several brands, and this one works remarkably well for relaxation and ensuring a good night’s sleep. Although it’s pricier than others, it’s worth it. I had two types of insomnia and relied on sleeping pills for years. Now, I only take magnesium citrate from Solgar and sleep for 8 hours every night! It also helps with constipation.

This is not my first time taking it. Excellent dosage in a sturdy glass jar with good packaging. Magnesium positively affects my body’s functions, including sleep, muscle relaxation, and spasm reduction. I use it as an antispasmodic. Always consult a doctor before use, though.
